For over forty years, Odin Fabrication has built precision sheet metal to print. Enclosures and sub-components are what we do best — fiber laser cutting, CNC forming and turret punching, robotic TIG and MIG welding, and hardware insertion under one roof in Elburn, Illinois.
What follows is the work by industry: what we build, and what each market demands of it.
Data Center & Electronics
Server cabinets and housings, rack mount chassis, card cages, subsystem enclosures, blank panels, buss bars, heat sinks, computer cabinets and communication equipment enclosures.
Equipment for this market is decided on repeatability. A chassis that fits on unit one and binds on unit four hundred is a line-down problem, not a quality problem. Robotic TIG welding holds weld appearance and penetration consistent across a production run, and first article inspection in house means a dimensional issue surfaces before the run instead of during it.
We supply components to equipment manufacturers. Agency listings such as UL 891 and UL 1558 cover assembled equipment and belong to you — we build to the drawing in your file, without substitution and without engineering changes you haven't approved.
Industrial Automation and Production Equipment
Automation equipment, control panels, custom production machine enclosures, welding controls, dispensing equipment, filter housings, and J.I.C. and NEMA enclosures.
This is high-mix work — often a handful of units, often against a print that is still moving. We work from 3D models and provide manufacturing insight from the start.
Medical Device & Lab
Medical laboratory equipment, industrial laboratory equipment, instrument chassis, filter housings, measuring and testing equipment enclosures.
Medical device work sets the documentation standard we apply everywhere else. Revision control, material certifications, lot traceability and first article inspection are routine here rather than exceptional, and those habits carry into commercial jobs that never asked for them.
Automotive
Brackets, extension brackets, chassis, weldments and formed components for automotive manufacturers and their suppliers.
Production volume at production tolerances. CNC turret punching and fiber laser cutting give us pattern flexibility without tooling cost, which matters most in the window between prototype and full release when the design is still settling and nobody wants to pay for a die twice.

Brackets, weldments, enclosures, chassis and structural components for defense and municipal programs.
Parts are built to the released revision. A deviation that improves the part is still a deviation, and on a qualified program that distinction matters more than the improvement. We work to quality clauses flowed down from primes and higher-tier suppliers, and supply parts certified to the specialty metals requirements of DFARS 252.225-7009. All fabrication is performed in Elburn, Illinois.
These programs run long. A part released today may be reordered in six years against the same drawing, by someone who was not there the first time. Material certifications, lot traceability and retained first article records are what make that reorder uneventful.
